- Abstract
Within the "macroprocess" of globalization and its four phases of acceleration, there are transareally produced symbolic artefacts, as the Biombo de la Con quista (c. 1690), which unfold artistic forms originated in transcultural intersections between America, Europe and Asia. The artistic condensation emerges from a transareal relationality which poses epistemological and analytical challenges: the Biombo is not only a painting, but a piece of furniture (a movable good). In its articulations and vectoricity, an art of the BetweenSpace and the BetweenWorlds unfolds, that makes visible interwoven movements of different sections of the planet.
