- Abstract
In high-density electrical exploration, geological inference and interpretation are usually carried out with the aid of two-dimensional resistivity inversion sections. However, the results of resistivity inversion are often different due to the selection of inversion parameters, and greatly affect the accuracy of geological inference and interpretation. In order to explore good inversion parameters for high-density resistivity two-dimensional inversion, in this study measured apparent resistivity sections of two observation devices are used to test the influence of parameters, such as forward and inversion grid size, model constraint conditions, partial derivative matrix calculation method, norm of objective function, initial damping factor, and inversion iteration number on inversion time and inversion resolution. Through inversion tests, it is found that meshing, model constraints and damping factors have great impact on the resolution of the inversion. The calculation method of the partial derivative matrix and the number of inversion iterations have much impact on the time-consuming inversion. When the data section contains mutational noise, the L1 norm can be selected for the data space and the model space. The experimental results can provide reference for the two-dimensional inversion of high-density resistivity.
