- Abstract
Based on the standard metro vehicle conditions, this paper analyzes the unification of two key top-level parameters of the air supply system: main reservoir pressure and initial air charging time. The difference of braking times of vehicles under different main reservoir pressure values is compared, and the influence of the urban altitude and the vehicle formation on the initial charging time is analyzed. The results shows that the increase of the main reservoir pressure would help to raise the allowable number of braking. When it is increased from 750~900 kPa to 800~950 kPa, the number of emergency braking is increased by 1, while the number of maximum service braking is increased by 2. The increase of altitude, the increase of system compressor shutdown pressure, the increase of nominal displacement of the air compressor, as well as the increase of the train formation will all cause the extension of the initial charging time of the train. The unification of the top parameter of the initial air charging time cannot be generalized. Factors such as different altitude and different train formation should be distinguished. This paper puts forward suggestions for the unification of standard metro main reservoir pressure and the initial air charging time.
