- Title
Stop the Worsening UNDERCOUNT of Palestinian Casualties in Gaza.
- Authors
NADER, RALPH
- Abstract
The article discusses the ongoing conflict in Gaza and raises concerns about the undercounting of Palestinian casualties. It highlights the devastating impact of the Israeli bombings and the resulting destruction of infrastructure, including hospitals and schools. The article questions the official death toll provided by the Hamas Health Ministry and argues that a more accurate estimate would be around 200,000 fatalities. It emphasizes the urgent need for a permanent ceasefire, humanitarian aid, and accountability under international law. The author also calls for recognition of the suffering of Palestinian children, mothers, and fathers and the importance of recovery and reparations for survivors.
