- Title
Fascism 101 for Today's Geopolitics.
- Authors
Bello, Walden
- Abstract
The article discusses the rise of far-right and fascist movements globally, highlighting recent political developments in Argentina, the Netherlands, and other countries. The author argues that the distinction between "far right" and "fascist" is academic, as fascists fully reveal their political propensities once in power. The article also explores the social conditions that breed fascism, including economic inequality, racism, and anti-immigrant sentiment. The author proposes several strategies to counter the fascist threat, including building broad electoral fronts, defending human rights, and promoting a transformative vision based on genuine equality and democratic empowerment.
