- Abstract
This article discusses the civil wars in Bosnia-Herzegovina and their aftermath. It highlights the role of media and public opinion in shaping the conflict, particularly in relation to the market bombings in Sarajevo. The author also examines the failure of UN peacekeeping efforts and the controversy surrounding the designation of "safe areas." The article concludes by discussing the lack of consensus among European countries and the dominance of NATO in resolving the conflict.
