- Abstract
The article reports on the development of composite structure combining photonic crystals and quantum wells. Topics discussed include the role of these composite structures in allowing the dynamic control of thermal emission at varying speeds, the role of the photonic crystals having photonic band gap structures in preventing the light propagation of varying frequencies and the impact of crystal periodicity on the flow of light.
