The article presents the study on one dimensional metal behavior of polymers. It relates the study by Yuen and colleagues which shows that individual chain of polymers behaves as a one-dimensional metal when the polymers are doped. It also notes that the results of the study suggest the need for further generalization of Luttinger liquids that could result to a more specific description of the electric properties of organic conductors.
