Solar cells: Pictures from the blended zone.
- Authors
McGehee, Michael D.; Topinka, Mark A.
- Abstract
The article presents new developments in the quest for cheaper and more efficient solar cells. The author describes the use of nanotechnology to develop new thin polymer blended films to study the charge generated in a solar cell through exposure to light. The article concludes that though further research is required, this technology could be the beginning of cheap and efficient solar cells lining the roofs of future houses.
