- Authors
Kenyon, Georgina
- Abstract
The article reports that scientists from Cardiff University in Wales, Great Britain, are working on preservation of marine life in the Aegean Sea. Military exercises like the one using active sonar routing of ships and various shipping activities, like uranium derived from ordnance detonation, are affecting the endangered common dolphin, sperm whale, and monk seal in the sea. Reportedly, with the life of mammals under threat, government is planning to limit these activities.
