The article focus on study conducted by Carl Gunderson and Anca Segall's lab about how to characterize the antibacterial activity of three Holliday Junction-trapping hexapeptides. The study showed the viability of DNA repair for new antibacterial agents. DNA are considered to be intermediaries in many DNA transactions such as repair of collapsed replication forks and damaged DNA.
