The article examine the U.S. Constitution's Third-Amendment rhetorical value. Topics discussed include the application of the amendment for getting substantial protection against forced quartering; use of the amendment to prevent the egregious abuses of governmental power; and laws governing practice of quartering soldiers in homes.
