- Abstract
The article focuses on significant bird observations which were collected by the Field Observations Committee (FOC). It states that submission to the FOC of various observations should comply with the format including, bird species, age and sex of the bird, and color morph if applicable. It says that within two weeks after the close of each season, observations must be submitted to the regional compiler or to the state compiler within one month. It adds that reports are sight-only observations, while those observations supported by verifiable evidence including photographs, video, and specimens are called records. Moreover, list of bird species observed during the spring season is presented which include snow goose, greater scaup, and surf scoter.
