- Abstract
The article reports on the importance of cooperative conservation for it could save California's tricolored balckbirds. It mentions that the farmers may also benefit from the new plan which goal is to keep the tricolored blackbird off the endangered species list. In September 2007, an agreement to implement the plan of saving the tricolored blackbirds was signed by representatives of agricultural industry groups, conservations and government agencies along with Rick Standiford.
