- Abstract
The article discusses equality, the European Court of Justice, and legislative efforts to prohibit the wearing of Islamic veils (burqas) in public places in various European nations as of January 2013, focusing on religious freedom rights under Article Nine of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.
