- Abstract
The article discusses the molecular nuts and bolts of a mechanism that prevents cells from becoming immortal. They have discussed the initial phases of embryogenesis, involving cell patterning and rapid proliferation, eventually give way to cellular differentiation, with slowed cell proliferation and the commencement of widespread developmentally regulated cell death or apoptosis. Information about the role of the Hippo in the transition from proliferation to differentiation.
