- Abstract
The essay offers a critical view towards celebration of the publishing of the works of Victorian-era poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning (EBB). The author, while maintaining a healthy respect towards the poet, instead explores the motivations and politics behind those who have brought about the publishing and editing of EBB's collected works, such as educational institutions and individuals with their own agendas, and their often overlooked consequences.
