- Abstract
The article discusses the establishment of the new American Embassy in Berlin, Germany on July 4, 2008. The embassy site, which was located between Pariser Platz and Tiergarten, has been the home to a previous American embassy. It was designed by architect Moore Ruble Yudell with Gruen Associates. It has an urban figure with an arched canopy, a cylinder facade and glass doors. It also includes the State Room, known as Quadriga Room and an internal courtyard. Moreover, it examines the architectural design of the embassy building, including its lobby, facade and security fence.
