- Abstract
The article focuses on an exhibition entitled "From the Verandah: Art, Buddhism, Presence," presented at the University of California Los Angeles Fowler Museum of Cultural History as part of the consortium program Awake: Art, Buddhism and Dimensions of Consciousness. The creators of the exhibition aimed to create an environment that would allow viewers to be awake to the potentiality of their own minds and feelings, as well as exhibit Buddhism without being about the religion.
