- Abstract
This article presents information about a typical day in the life of Tom Sanville, a library consortium manager and Director of Licensing and Strategic Partnerships for LYRASIS. The article notes that library consortia have been around for nearly 20 years and they are becoming increasingly important in this time of economic problems and reduced library budgets. The article also explains that a library consortium is a group of libraries that come together in one organization to benefit each other. Sanville presents details of a typical day that starts at 7:15 am and continues through many hours.
