- Title
Weakness of Will and Davidson's Paradox of Irrationality: A Response to Zheng.
- Authors
Mele, Alfred R.
- Abstract
The article focuses on weakness of will from a new perspective of comparative philosophy combined with a largely neglected Davidsonian paradox of irrationality. It mentions part of it that directly concerns Donald Davidson's paradox of irrationality and concern when discussing weak-willed actions has always been to explain how they happen. It also mentions empirical work on self-control and delay of gratification in the present connection.
