- Abstract
The article discusses case R v Roberts (Mark) & Others of the Court of Appeal of Great Britain, wherein the court ordered necessary enquiries with trial solicitors to establish what advice was given to the proposed applicant regarding imprisonment for public protection. The court noted court noted the large extensions of time of prisoners as an issue, and proceeded to assess the merits of the applications before considering the applications for an extension of time.
