Jones, Caroline E.
- Abstract
An essay is presented regarding young adult sexuality's characterization in novels concerning lesbian teens. It explores the underrepresentation of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer (LGBTQ) teens in American young adult literature. It suggests that queer sexual orientations continue to be an issue for booksellers, publishers, and readers.
