- Abstract
An interview with Russian Federation minister of science and education Andrei Fursenko is presented. When asked about the problems that the Russian science is facing, he refers to decreasing funds, declining social status of scientists, and low demand for research. Fursenko states that the government launched a program in 2009 to encourage scientists working abroad to return in the country. He adds that the government has allocated 12 billion roubles for university research.
