- Abstract
The article shows the possibility of using the method of measuring the sound absorption coefficient α to predict the heat resistance and residual life of heat-resistant materials using the example of heat-resistant concrete of three different compositions (without additives, with a plasticizer, with a micro-filler and a combined plasticizer). The critical value of α, corresponding to a significant degree of material destruction, at which further operation is impossible, is established. The primary regression equations, which can be used for approximate prediction of the thermal stability of heat-resistant materials and determination of their residual life, are obtained.
