- Abstract
The article presents an in vitro and in vivo study regarding the effect of triclorfon, a pesticide with chemical phosphonates structure, on the red American crayfish procambarus clarkii especially on its neuro target esterases (NTE). It states that the study observed the effect of triclorfon on muscular cholinesterase, muscular glycogen, and hepatic glycogen. It says that progression of exposure to triclorfon results to inhibition of NTE activity.
