- Abstract
The stability of high and steep rock slope in open-pit mine seriously threatens the safety production of the mine.Especially for the slope developed in the fracture zone formed by metamorphic rock and intrusive rock with complex geological conditions. uneven stratigraphic distribution, and developed joints and fissures. To ensure the safe production of a mine, the physical and mechanical properties of the rock in the mine are determined by mechanical tests. The mechanical properties of the rock are transformed into the mechanical properties of the rock mass by Hoek Brown strength criterion, and the quality of the rock mass is evaluated. At the same time, the high and steep rock slope of the mine is numerically studied by FLAC3D numerical simulation technology. The research results show that the safety factor of the end slope of the mine is 1. 31, and the slope is generally in a stable state. However, through the analysis of the maximum principal stress in the middle of the slope, it can be seen that the risk of caving, collapse, or landslide may exist in the middle of the slope with the progress of mining, in view of the risk of the slope, the preventive measures are put forward in this paper. This study provides scientific guidance for the safe production of the open-pit mine and provides a scientific basis for the slope treatment of similar mines.
