- Abstract
The article focuses on the need of steps to be taken to improve the regulatory reforms on food additives, generally recognized as safe (GRAS) substances, and accurate information about additives currently in food supply with safety. It mentions that addressing the use of misleading term natural on labeling of foods containing additives. It also mentions that the administrative process of the U.S. and Food & Drug Administration (FDA) under the U.S. Food Drug and Cosmetic Act of 1938 (FDCA).
