- Abstract
Invasive species have abundances in new ranges than in native environments. Understanding the mechanisms of plant invasions is challenging but crucial to invasive species management and future invaders prediction. The past several years have witnessed numerous new researches to determine plant invasion mechanisms. Here we summarize some of important hypothesis presented to explain invasion success. Moreover, this paper provides comprehensive inventory of invasive plants in Pakistan. Invaders with high impact in terrestrial ecosystems are also discussed.
