The article reflects on the legacy of poet and novelist Édouard Glissant. According to the article's author, Glissant developed his personal ideas through his theoretical writings. Some philosophical concepts tackled by Glissant in his works such universalism, Relation and creolization are discussed. Glissant's views on philosophers and his character as philosopher-poet are tackled.
