- Abstract
questionnaire survey of 2831 primary and secondary school teachers of all subjects on social practice participating in a city has been conducted, and it is found that the social knowledge reserve of primary and secondary school teachers is generally good, but their breadth of knowledge is poor; that most primary and secondary school teachers believe that it is very necessary to participate in the social practice, especially for the development and cultivation of students, and it can effectively improve the effectiveness and quality of subject teaching; that politics and history teachers are significantly higher than other teachers in terms of their understanding of the role of social practice and their level of social knowledge; and that more than 80% of teachers are willing in social practice participating, however, most of the social practice activities that teachers participate in are in the process of organizing students' practical activities. Primary and secondary school teachers also face difficulties in social practice participating, such as lack of time, lack of supporting policies and channels. In order to promote teachers' participation in the social practice without increasing the burden on teachers, it is necessary to strengthen the publicity, deepen the understanding, incorporate social practice participating into teachers' professional development channels, formulate "Management Measures for Teachers' Participation in Social Practice", establish social practice bases, give full play to the roles of all subjects, and improve the effectiveness of social practice.
