- Abstract
This article depicts the development of a theoretical and formal research that addresses the need of creating a new positioning of drawing, in a historical moment that is forced to redefine its relations with reality and its representation. Starting from the concept of drawing as one of those possible representations, the artist proposes a new reading of its processes and the use of his most representative materials, together with a theoretical reflection based on authors such as Deleuze, Heidegger and Danto, which leads us to a new understanding and conceptualization of what defines drawing, and allows it to be drawing. The methodology followed combines a theoretical and practical approach, creating a space where reflections and partial conclusions merge and result in the production of a plastic work, based on the manipulation of the density of graphite and Indian ink in order to create solid drawings.
