- Abstract
The article focuses on ways on how geriatric oncology ambulatory care clinics can help address the needs of older patients with cancer. It includes allowing providers to work together to develop individualize treatment, connecting patients with specialists knowledgeable with the intersection of aging and cancer, and providing an opportunity to develop and enroll patients in site-specific studies wherein nurses can implement evidence-based interventions and care strategies.
