- Authors
Millman, Gregory J.
- Abstract
The article focuses on business ethics at the executive level and efforts to improve the ethical conduct of businesspeople. Patterns of ethical misconduct between upper management and typical employees are discussed. Many businesspeople have been trained in ethics; however, few report such abuses. The concept 'black and white fever' is described as a possible remedy to unethical conduct. The persuasion power of prosecuting ethical violators is noted. Several prominent white collar crime cases are presented.
