- Abstract
As graphite crystallizes with a sharp interface, HT <math display="block" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><semantics><mrow><mi mathvariant="sans-serif"> </mi><mo> </mo><mn>1</mn></mrow></semantics></math> ht should be used for this case. This was derived on the basis of HT <math display="block" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><semantics><mrow><msub><mi mathvariant="normal">T</mi><mn>0</mn></msub><mo>=</mo></mrow></semantics></math> ht 1415 K, the eutectic temperature, and for the eutectic composition. As we have demonstrated that in the case of graphite HT <math display="block" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><semantics><mrow><mi mathvariant="sans-serif"> </mi><mo> </mo><mn>1</mn></mrow></semantics></math> ht must be used, and as we showed the extent to which the calculations produce unrealistic results, even this should be enough.
