- Abstract
This article discusses the technical aspects of performing intracorporeal anastomosis in laparoscopic right hemicolectomy. The authors present various methods of performing this procedure and highlight the benefits of intracorporeal anastomosis, such as earlier recovery of bowel function and less postoperative pain. They also discuss the pros and cons of different techniques, including anti-peristaltic anastomosis with V-loc closure, iso-peristaltic anastomosis with interrupted PDS closure, and functional end-to-end anti-peristaltic anastomosis with double staple technique. The choice of technique will depend on the surgeon's preference. The authors declare no conflict of interest and the data supporting their findings are available upon request.
