- Abstract
The article presents a review that investigates the association between attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or ADHD-related symptoms and industrial chemicals. These chemicals include organophosphates and organochlorine pesticides, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), lead, mercury and manganese. Meanwhile, it examines the association of prenatal and postnatal child exposure to these toxicants and ADHD or ADHD-related symptoms. It notes that the review is restricted to human subjects.
