- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 20-year-old Japanese female neuromyelitis optica (NMO) patient, who was found to be positive for anti-AQP4 antibody. It reports that involvement of Holocord with sparing of the peripheral white matter rim was examined at the Th2 level. She was treated with corticosteroids which resulted in resolution of the longitudinally extensive spinal cord lesions (LESCL) and improved neurological symptoms.
