The article focuses on a study regarding the attitude of middle school students of Texas related to wildlife conservation towards the Louisiana Pine Snake that suggests that the conservation attitudes of students who touched the pine snake were more positive as compared to those who did not touch the snake. Topics discussed include live animals used by Ellen Trout Zoo in Lufkin Texas in their education programs; and zoos working on biodiversity conservation.
