- Abstract
The article reports on events during the Consultation of Conciliar Ecumenism which was held at Saydat El Jabal, Lebanon on February 5-11, 2012. The consultation was attended by 43 representatives and conciliar leadership from 32 different councils across the globe, including the World Council of Churches. It highlighted the significance of the meeting in Lebanon which reflected a common Christian heritage in the Middle East. The consultation focused on issues within the conciliar ecumenism, including the spirit of fellowship in prayers and the commitment to seek creative visions for the future of the ecumenical movement.
