- Abstract
Objective: To identify the difficulties encountered by the nursing staff in the process of humanizing care and to describe the importance of the nurse's role in this process. It's through this that we will contribute to the sensitivity, and awareness, of the society in which we live. Methods: an exploratory and descriptive bibliographic study performed in the Virtual Health Library (LILACS and BDENF) using a qualitative approach. After the data collection, an exploratory, selective, and critical reading was carried out along with a thematic analysis. Results: The following categories emerged: Difficulties encountered by nursing professionals in the process of humanization and the importance of the nurse in quality care. Conclusion: we conclude that the act of humanizing is extremely important for patient recovery, where attention and affection is necessary.
