- Abstract
In this article, the authors discuss the role of social engineering in big science, which are scientific projects with huge amount of funds such as the Human Genome Projects. They are critical on the rising cost of drug discovery and the cost and access to medical services which could affect the society. They suggest an emergent collaboration in other fields to sustain the project goals and promote technological benefits.
