- Abstract
The article discusses the beneficial roles of the plant genus rhododendron which is considered as pests in Great Britain. It states that Rhododendron arboreum, a species of rhododendron, is considered as the national flower of Nepal. In addition, the flowers and corolla of rhododendron are transformed into jellies and wine called guranse which help prevent altitude sickness. Moreover, a study found that essential oil of R. anthopogon is effective against disease-causing bacteria.
