- Abstract
This article discusses two separate collections of postcards that offer insights into different aspects of history. The first collection consists of letters and an account book from the 1850s, providing a glimpse into the life of a couple named Gallier Jr. and Aglaé Villavaso. The second collection includes postcards sent to Ursuline nuns between 1909 and 1937, showcasing the relationships between the nuns and their family members and fellow religious orders. These postcards are written in both French and English and offer a unique perspective on the Ursuline order in New Orleans.
