- Abstract
The fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensor has a wide range of applications in the penetration and explosion impact testing technology. The measurement principle and key technology of FBG sensor are introduced in this paper. Compared with the conventional measurement method of the explosion shock, the FBG sensor has the features of high accuracy, trong anti-electromagnetic interference, small size and distributed measurement. Limited to the development of fiber grating demodulation technology, i. e. the sampling rate, the application of FBG sensors in the field of explosion impact is in its initial stage. The application of FBG sensors to Hopkinaon bar is described. The technical problems which need to be solved urgently are proposed.
