- Abstract
The article offers the author's insights on the learning she acquired during the six-week film production program of Chester Voices for Change (VFC) Summer Institute regarding the other side of media literacy education. The author says that media literacy education focuses mainly on critical thinking and technical skills. She also cites the other sides of media literacy education that are often neglected, namely the development of possible selves, social capital, and positive youth development.
