- Title
THE REMARKABLE HARRIS FAMILY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA: PARTS II & III.
- Abstract
The article presents information on the second generation of the Harris family, the Jewish family who migrated to the U.S. They include Phillip Harris' sons, namely, Leslie, Harold and Melville, who not only excelled in business skills, but also displayed an enthusiasm toward community service and philanthropic efforts. Leslie is said to be the one who symbolized a tower of strength and polarized the whole family. Though he had a secret longing for a career in entertainment or creative arts, Harold still followed the footsteps of his father.
