- Abstract
The article reports that former U.S. Federal Reserve Board chairman Paul Volcker will serve as chairman of an oversight board that will collaborate with the U.S. arm of Anderson Worldwide, S.C. to reform the firm's auditing practices. Currently the chairman of the International Accounting Standards Committee (IASC), Volcker will have access to a staff and all information deemed relevant to his charge. Anderson chief executive Joseph Berardino asserts that Volcker's board has been granted complete authority to impose all necessary and desirable changes.
