- Abstract
The author discusses the connection between anthropology, religion and sociology of religion in the context of Christianity and changing dynamics of presence. It argues that the role of language is important in terms of publicizing protestant forms of Christianity globally. It comments on the decline in the power of Christian word that has been noticeable following the rise of alternate religions including paganism, new age and pentecostalism.
