- Abstract
The article discusses the Group of 20 leader's (G20) performance in global financial crisis regulation. It discusses the fundamental changes in the global financial system in the past 40 years and the reforms the G20 might have introduced had it been seeking to respond fully to these fundamental changes. It mentions the first meeting of the G20 leaders held in Washington, DC in order to stabilise the global economy and to prevent future crises and the measures to facilitate trade finance.
